Welcome

Hi. I’m Kayla.

I became a mother of 3 in less than 2 years. My son and my twin girls were born 21 months apart. I have done my best here at Chasing a Daredevil and Twins to write about the realities of having twins and a toddler and I’m not afraid to say that it’s hard sometimes, on the flip side, I am also not afraid to show off how beautiful it is .

If you want to start from the beginning of my journey, here are my first posts:

I’ve written a lot about breastfeeding twins. My twins are currently (26 months and we are still breastfeeding). And I collected other stories from other twin moms who breastfeed or bottle feed.

I’ve also written articles for Twiniversity.com which is an amazing resource for families of multiples:

When the twins were 18 months old, I became pregnant again. I was actually excited even though it meant I would be having 4 children in 4 years. After some complications, it turns out that it was a molar pregnancy. I ended up having a hysterectomy where they removed my uterus, cervix, and Fallopian tubes. I needed some craft therapy and am currently putting all my of energies into my new hand-embroidery business Knotty Dickens.

Cheers,

Kayla
